on the rise now in the USA. Food trucks are usually big and contain many things

cutting some windows in the Wagon where he would give journalists and pressmen
snacks, sandwiches and coffees to buy at Providence Rhode Island newspaper
house.
Thomas Buckley who was then a
lunch-counter personnel started to make lunch wagons similar to the one
converted by Walter Scott in few years later. Different models of lunch
vehicles such as the White house café, Owl and so on were made in
Massachusetts. These looked similar in design and make to those vehicles and
trucks that the food truck caterers are using nowadays. All of them would have
windows that are colored, sinks, cooking stands or stoves, refrigerators and
other items that can be found in standard kitchens.
In the twentieth century (1950s),
mobile canteens were setup at some army bases to sell fast foods to soldiers
who camped at these Army bases. There are also pizza trucks that used to ply
the New York City selling pizza to people. We also have “Gut trucks” or “roach
coaches” which are food vehicles that sell fast foods to factories,
construction sites and modern companies.
Basically, food truck catering
service is meant to provide food at affordable prices to people who are
on-the-go and they cannot afford to cook the food on their own at that time.
Not only do the foods being sold by these movable kitchens cheaper, they are
also readily available to working class people.
